The mystery of the Great Pyramid

On one day in May 1954, when Egyptian archaeologist Kamal Malakakh was conducting archaeological excavations under a stone wall south of the Great Pyramid, he found a row of 40 limestone slabs, which looked like pretenders. Sardines in cans. These slabs cover a rectangular stone pit. Malakach dug a cave in one of the stone bricks, looked down through the cave, and found a boat-shaped stone pit. This is the fourth boat-shaped pit found next to the Great Pyramid. None of the three boat-shaped pits found before had no ships in them, and they may have been removed or disintegrated early. And this long and narrow pit is covered with stone slabs weighing 15 tons, and there is a ship in the pit. This is the Khufu ship, which is 43.6 meters long and 5.9 meters wide.
The discovery of the Khufu ship completely subverted modern people’s understanding of ancient Egyptian shipbuilding. The ship has never been disturbed since it was sealed in this stone pit dug in the bedrock of the Giza Plateau, but when it was discovered by Malakach, it had been turned into 1,224 pieces of wood. The longest block is 23 meters long and the shortest is only 10 cm. The arrangement of these wooden blocks is in full compliance with the order of the ship’s assembly, and it looks like the ship just disintegrated. These blocks still exude the fragrance of Lebanese cedar when they see the sky again. From the analysis of these pieces of wood, most of the Khufu ship is made of boards processed from Lebanese cedar. The bottom of the ship is composed of multiple boards, but the whole ship does not have a keel, but uses straw ropes to tightly tie the boards and frame together. . Based on the 1,224 wooden blocks found in the pit, it took 14 years for Egyptian antiquities and shipbuilding experts to finally rebuild the Khufu ship.
Archaeologists still do not know the history and function of the Khufu ship. From the appearance, the Khufu ship has obvious “solar ship” characteristics. The so-called solar boat is a type of ritual boat in ancient Egypt, and its meaning is: the solar boat carries the sun god “pull” and the resurrected pharaoh through the sky. The Khufu boat did show signs of traveling in the water. Archaeologists speculate that there are two possibilities: First, the Khufu boat was a “burial ship”, which originally carried Khufu’s mummies from Memphis (an ancient Egyptian city, the ruins are south of present-day Cairo) Go to Giza for burial; secondly, Khufu himself used this ship as a “pilgrimage ship” to visit various holy places by boat. After Khufu’s death, the ship was buried with Khufu in the “underworld”.
The ancient Egyptian shipbuilders did not use a nail when building the Khufu ship. They connected the adjacent ship boards by tenon and mortise joints, and then tied the ship boards together with strong straw ropes, but not the ropes. Winding or passing through the ship board, thousands of V-shaped grooves are meticulously carved on the inside of the ship board, and the grass rope runs through the grooves. In short, it is equivalent to “sewing” a boat with straw ropes.
The wood used to build the Khufu ship is mainly Lebanese cedar. In ancient Egypt, there were not many other big trees except the Nile acacia and weird willow, so the ancient Egyptians had to import cedar from the eastern Mediterranean before the Khufu era. The workers processed round logs with flat axes. This processing method is still used by Egyptian shipbuilders. This photo of the deckhouse of a Khufu ship shows the superb skills achieved by ancient Egyptian shipbuilders using bronze and flint tools.
On the deck of the Khufu ship, there is a deckhouse with a roof of about 10 meters and no windows, and there is a small room about 2 meters in the room. Was Khufu’s mummy lying in this small room? Was transported to the Great Pyramid through the Nile River for burial? Or, does Khufu intend to continue using this ship in the “underworld”? Archaeologists have no definite answer yet.
According to the shape of its two ends, the Khufu boat is also called the papyrus (suo) straw boat. Papyrus is a tall sedge that the ancient Egyptians used to build ships and make ropes, sandals, mats and other objects. Papyrus boats can often be seen in the paintings and sculptures of the ancient Egyptian kingdom. The pharaohs in the paintings ride on this boat to visit holy places, and the gods also ride on the papyrus boat.
It seems that the ancient Egyptian shipbuilders deliberately designed the deckhouse to be disassembled at will: the deckhouse is composed of 22 pre-made cedar panels with various structures. Based on this, some archaeologists believe that the Khufu ship never intended to sail in the real world, but instead buried Pharaoh Khufu for his use in the “underworld”.
Almost all the trusses of the Khufu ship (the curved wood in the picture) are equipped with decks, and the oars may be tied to the trusses. The deck itself consists of panels joined by tenons and mortises. It can be seen from the picture that a wooden member protrudes from the deckhouse, and there may be a cushion or a linen canopy on it. The purpose of installing cushions or canopies may be to cool down through evaporation—wetting the cushions or canopies to insulate and cool the interior space of the deck.
Since its discovery more than 50 years ago, there is still no definite statement about the purpose of this “mystery ship”. Some people say that it is a solar boat. Khufu advertised himself as the incarnation of the sun god, and he cruised the sky in the solar boat every day. Some people say it is a funeral ship, carrying Khufu’s body through the Nile to the Great Pyramid of Giza for burial, or for the last pilgrimage.
There are 12 oars on the Khufu, 10 of which are tied to the belly of the ship in front of the deckhouse. The remaining two are tied to the stern as steering oars. Until the New Kingdom period (more than 1,000 years after Khufu’s death), many stone carvings, paintings and ship models in the tombs of the pharaohs had such oars. but. Archaeologists have been arguing about the exact placement and function of the first 10 oars.
The Khufu ship is hailed as one of the greatest discoveries of ancient Egypt. Since 1982, the Khufu Ship has been on display in the Khufu Ship Museum in the Giza Pyramid Complex. This is an air-conditioned museum. The first floor introduces visitors to the excavation and restoration process of this three-masted sailing ship in the form of videos, pictures and text. The stone pit where the Khufu ship was placed is integrated into the design of the ground floor of the museum, so if you want to see the restored Khufu ship, visitors need to climb the stairs to the second floor. The windows extend from the ground to the ceiling of the museum, providing a good view. Visitors can circle the wooden walkway of the Khufu ship to fully appreciate the elegance of this ancient ship.
A fifth boat-shaped pit was also found in the Giza Pyramid complex, but this pit has not been opened so far. It is intended to wait for future excavation techniques to obtain more information. The above-mentioned boat-shaped pits are regarded as an important part of the Great Pyramid.

Mystery of the Great Pyramid construction of
the US “Truth investigators,” Metaphysical Olsen said the construction of the Great Pyramid was really perfect. Anatomically, the Great Pyramid is located at the land center of the world-the four sides of the bottom of the Great Pyramid face east, west, south and north respectively; the latitude of the Great Pyramid is exactly 30 degrees north latitude, that is, the distance from the equator to the polar region. The land area covered by the north-south and west-east meridian from the base of the Great Pyramid is larger than any other longitude and latitude. Is it impossible for other super civilizations to participate in such a precise design and construction?
Olsen also said that the 40-story pyramid may not be or is not just a mausoleum of the pharaohs. Judging from the accounts of medieval Arab writers and other related historical materials, the great pyramid is most likely related to the ancient superflood. , The ancient Egyptians built the Great Pyramid as a storehouse of their knowledge and wisdom to deal with the coming of great disasters.
Olsen said that many “independent investigative teams” have used petroleum sonar survey technology to find multiple interconnected dark rooms under the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx. These dark rooms are located in different strata. There should be a large metal dish (an allusion to an alien flying saucer) in the bottom dark room. More importantly, those dark rooms may contain ancient documents recording the Atlantis civilization, and the final exposure of these documents will ruthlessly change the course of history. According to Olsen, the Egyptian authorities have repeatedly prevented members of the “independent investigation team” from using scanners and robots to investigate the mazes and shafts in the Great Pyramid. Doesn’t this further confirm the mystery that may be hidden inside the Great Pyramid?
